So yes, Thanksgiving was sooo much fun! Lets see, how did the day go...
I woke up at like, 8:30-ish and had a light breakfast. I just sort of chilled with my mom and my grandma until around 10 when I woke up my brother and we started getting ready. We were early, but somebody *cough*DAWDLE!*cough* spent twenty minutes on the phone (iz ok, we love ya anyways.
But surprise, surprise, not only did we show up at 11:57, but we actually managed to beat my father there! We're still not sure how we managed that one...
Now lets see if I can remember exactly who was there...
~Me
~Andy(brother)
~Rachel(sister)
~Da(father)
~Micheline(father's wife)
~Cody(father's wife's son)
~Tere(aunt)
~Anette(aunt)
~Robert(uncle)
~Ricky(uncle)
~Carmen(above uncle's girlfriend)
~Haley(cousin)
~Steven(cousin's boyfriend)
~Bea(grandma)
I think that's all, question mark? Oh well. If I forgot someone....oops.
But either way, my sister hadn't even completely left the car when my aunt started grilling her about DC. Oh wait, have I not mentioned that before? Well, back-story, my sister is moving to Washington DC on January 6th. She wil be moving there to live with her boyfriend, but also she has way more job opportunities (around 6% unemployment rate vs. like, 12%). She even has two interviews next weekend! (She's going up for a visit and will have the interviews then).
Anywho, back to Thanksgiving! So the entire family wanted to hear about the boyfriend and the jobs and overall everything to do with the sudden cross-country move. It was actually very amusing to watch my sister get grilled like, three times. XP
We ate dinner a little after 1. There wasn't enough room at the "adult table", so my brother, Haley, Steven, and I got kicked to the living room coffee table (declared the "kids' table). We still don't know how my sister managed to sneak into the Adult table. No way is she an adult...
Regardless, the turkey was delicious, and I also had ham, potatoes, peas, a roll, macaroni and cheese, and other Thanksgiving day goodies. Haley and Steven had to leave a bit early, so after saying goodbye to them, my brother and I crashed the Adult table for dessert, stealing my father and someone else(we're not sure who)'s seats. I then ate a chocolate cupcake ans WAY too much toffee ice cream (totally worth it though).
Then, we were suppose to leave at 3 in order to get to Thanksgiving #2 in Northridge by 3:30. However, we got held up (not by my sister this time) looking at photos from Anette and Robert's vacation to Hawaii (it really is a stunning place). Now, one might think that perhaps we could pull off another miracle drive and somehow manage to get there by 3:30, right? Well, we ended up leaving at 3:30, so that was pretty much out of the question. However, after calling my mom this time to tell her we were running late, turns out, she is too. Funny how these thing work, eh? Well, after some failures with a GPS turned paper-weight and a few wrong turns, we made it by around 4-ish.
Now, the guest list for Thanksgiving #2:
~Me
~Andy
~Rachel
~Mama(mother)
~Billie(grandma)
~Bonnie(grandfather's cousin)
~Adam(grandfather's cousin's husband)
~Sarah(grandfather's cousin's daughter)
~Rodger(grandfather's cousin's daughter's husband)
Yes, much smaller than the last list. So we got there, visited a bit while some of the food finished cooking, then we sat down for dinner numero dos. I had turkey, peas, a roll, potatoes, and... that might have been all I could handle. XD I was still pretty dead from the first meal... But that didn't mean I didn't have room for dessert!(There's always room for dessert) I have some very delicious pumpkin pie (it's interesting, because before this year, I disliked pumpkin pie, but apparently my taste buds have "matured"). Then we visited a bit more and around 7 we headed back home.
Once there, we pretty much just vegged out for the rest of the night. A good end to the day, if I do say so myself (although I'm pretty sure I managed to gain 20 pounds in 6 hours. XD)
Today, we pretty much did nothing. We've been spending time with my grandma, my uncle(mom's brother) showed up in the afternoon and will be staying with us till Sunday, so that will be fun. We also had some epic-ness when my sister's roommate(Sarah) stopped by with her dog, so we had our dog(DeeDee), my sister's cat(Charlie), Sarah's dog(Little Zombie) and my bird(Dolly). We pretty much got the entire food chain. Luckily, after a little bit of chaos and lots of loud, loud, noise (so. much. barking...) all creatures settled down and were able to get along (except for the cat and the bird... the cat still jumps at the cage). It was also much fun to see Charlie and Little Zombie in their matching orange vests (the things my sister and Sarah do to their animals...)(oh who am I kidding, I love it).
But believe it or not! After all of this, I actualy managed to be productive and finish a little over a page of my DCE essay, and most of the writing part of my creative writing assignment(now it just needs to be edited and decorated). So... yay!
Ok, I'm done now. Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Standing alone in the night,
no stars and no moon to guide me.
Im living in a world without magic,
a world without hope.
Mother Earth is crying over her children
but nobody listens.
Its the hour of the wolf
And there is no return.

Er... I'm free till around, 3:30/4-ish? And also, I have no means of transportation, so... If you want to hang out in the morning and give me a ride I can (although I hate to ask you all that). Sorry to make life more complicated.
Also, I don't think I'm going to be able to hang out on Halloween.
I'm sorry. I haven't seen/ talked to you in forever. But we shall prevail! Nothing shall keep us apart! We shall be so persistent in our efforts, they shall make a movie about our struggles to overcome the obstacles of distance on the Hallmark channel and we shall be famous! FAMOUS I TELL YOU!! And then we'll be rich and buy private jets and never have to worry about living far away from each other ever again! HUZZAH!!!!!

But do you have a week off for thanksgiving? Cause if so, my mom probably wouldn't have to work in which case I could drive up (or if you come down it's cool too)(P.S. my mom does have to work the day after halloween in the morning/ evening, so sorry 'bout that.
Either way, WE NEED TO HANG OUT!!!!

But for Halloween, I'm having a party on actual Halloween night, with a sleepover. Can you come?
I'm gonna try to come to yours on the 30th, but I'll be driving over after school, which I'll bump into traffic.
I MISS YOU JENNA MUFFY!
